Changing post type slug

To change the slug of The7 Post type, such as Portfolio(project), Team(dt_team), Photo Album(dt_gallery), you need to go to:

For other post types like Testimonials, Benefits etc. please use this method – You need to adjust the code for different post types – the example is Testimonials post type.

To change post type taxonomy slug, such as “project_category”, please use this method – You need to adjust the code for different custom posts’ taxonomies- the example is the portfolio_category.

Please be aware, that you should not use the slugs that are already in use on your website.
For example, if you created a page “careers”, and decide to change the slug of portfolio to “careers”, you will create a conflict, and the archive of your portfolio will override the “careers” page.
Make sure that the slug is not in use.

Please remember that after changing any slug, with the code or with the settings, you need to go to Settings -> Permalinks, and click the Save button to rebuild your URLs
